My name is Heather Kelley, and I am honored to serve as Assistant Principal. 

Education has always been more than a profession to me - it is a calling. After spending 10 years in the elementary classroom, I have seen the incredible impact that relationships, encouragement, and high expectations can have on a child's life. Those experiences continue to shape the way I lead each day.

I earned my bachelor's degree in early childhood education from Lander University, my master's degree in education from Anderson University, and my Education Specialist degree from Clemson University. Go Tigers! Each step of my educational journey has strengthened my passion for serving students, supporting teachers, and fostering meaningful partnerships. 

A little fun fact about me - I actually attended Mays from kindergarten through fifth grade when it was known as Springfield. It is incredibly special to serve the same school that played such an important role in my own childhood. Thank you for welcoming me into the Mays family.
